The Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR) presents an exhibition of paintings by Pratiksha Apurv. The ‘Reflections’ series is dedicated to the eternal journey in solitude and its reflection on every aspect of our lives.

It is rare for the ordinary eye to manage to see the truly meaningful and if it does, the mind is unwilling to accept it, for it goes against conventional wisdom. To break the mold it requires an empathetic inner vision and experiential understanding of what is, before even attempting to express what the sages have tried hard to convey.

While it is possible to draw and paint one’s reflection on canvas, the shadow of inner journey can only be put on canvas through meditation and deep inner search. This is exactly what Pratiksha has always attempted through ‘Dhyan’ as well as ‘Introspection’ and her colors are the tools to immortalize each new layer of understanding in the current series ‘Reflections’.
